INVITATION TO JOIN PRCA MALAYSIA FIRST-EVER INSIGHTS AND DIALOGUE SERIES

PRCA Malaysia is proud to launch the PRCA Malaysia Insights and Dialogue Series as part of the Association’s efforts to engage industry professionals and enhance the overall standards of PR and Communications practice in Malaysia.

To kick-off the series, we are partnering with Isentia, to host a dialogue for PR and Communications industry leaders on 18 December 2020. The topic of this inaugural event is ‘PR and Communications Landscape – A Review of 2020 and Expectations for 2021’.

The three panel members of this forum are:

1) Jonathan Tan
Founder and Managing Director of VoxEureka

  • Jonathan is Founder and Managing Director at VoxEureka, an independent PR-Digital hybrid consultancy that commenced operations in 2017. He currently manages a team of 22 consultants that drive reputational and strategic storytelling for brands such as BMW, Digi, HSBC, Nokia, Sunway, and Unilever. This is Jon’s 14th year in the industry, previously having held market and practice leadership roles with Cohn&Wolfe and Fleishman-Hillard. Outside of work, Jon is an avid theatre and anime fan. He also plays bass guitar and badminton, though these hobbies have taken a backseat with the birth of his daughter Adrianne earlier in June this year.
2) Vijayaratnam Tharumartnam
Director, Group Corporate Communications of PROTON Holdings
  • Vijayaratnam has over 20 years in the communications industry where he has worked in a variety of roles ranging from Broadcast to Banking. Specializing in the areas of brand, strategy and crisis, Vijayaratnam has led a variety of Communications practices in both local and international capacities. This includes Petronas, Ogilvy, BMW Group, HSBC UK and the government of Malaysia. He recently returned to Malaysia, heading up Corporate Communications for PROTON. After a 5 year sabbatical, the self-confessed nerd is extremely keen on the impact of the digital revolution on social norms, human interaction and business.

3) Regina Robin
Senior Communications Manager of Grab Malaysia

  • Regina discovered Public Relations by accident and likens it to Hotel California. Having spent almost 10 years in an agency, she has ‘checked out’ a variety of industries and brands and is now serving time as an in-house comms person for one of Malaysia’s most controversial start-up. Her role includes strategising, crisis and brand management and working part-time as a customer-service agent. An introverted person in an extroverted role, she thrives on coffee and brainstorm sessions, and finds her best ideas and inspirations from random conversations with her colleagues.

The discussion will be moderated by Andy See Teong Leng, President of PRCA Malaysia.

This webinar is FREE. As seats are limited, registration will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. Priority will be given to PRCA Malaysia members.
