And… It’s a wrap!
The PR industry came together at the 12th installment of the Malaysia PR Awards (MPRA), to celebrate the most innovative and outstanding work in 2018/19, on top of celebrating PRCA Malaysia’s 20th anniversary. This year’s MPRA was the biggest ever since its inception, recording the highest number of entries.
A total of 28 winners across 11 categories were awarded, with 9 gold, 12 silver, and 7 bronze winners. In addition, one campaign that truly impressed our panel of independent judges earned the coveted “Campaign of the Year” award – the PTPTN Public Consultation Process.
We were also proud to present the “PRCA Malaysia Leadership Award” to Astro AWANI for its leadership in the media industry, particularly in influencing change in the Malaysian TV industry as well as the communications landscape for broadcast media.
Additionally, the “PRCA Malaysia Community Award” was awarded to Women’s Aid Organisation (WAO) for their efforts in improving public policies and shifting societal attitudes towards gender equality and violence against women. WAO has been at the forefront to advance women’s rights in Malaysia for years.
